Why we are doing the remake

Why have we chosen this piece?
We decided to recreate this opening due to a number of reasons. Firstly, we thought it would be the most fun to do compared to the other choices available. Secondly, we already had it set in our minds as to what we would do to accomplish recreating this opening sequence successfully.  We will film 8 members of our peers walking from a car, followed by a close up on each of them. We will then film a shot with them walking away from the camera, identical to that of the opening in Reservoir Dogs. This will help us with our piece because we will be able to analyse the timings in which the titles are introduced. This will educate us on the ideal timings we will include on our film opening in terms of titles. Secondly, we will learn how long each title should be on screen for. This will allow us to determine how much time is needed for each title, and whether we will waste time, or not use enough.
